Before the internship, I was only familiar with the visual part of Power Bi. And then, if I may say, we were on you. I didn’t even get into the “Model” and “Data” tabs - everything seemed too complicated there. But it is very difficult to prepare normal data without this knowledge.

But by the end of the internship, it somehow turned out by itself that I was already well versed in this (compared to the beginning, of course). With the usual study, I would have been digging for a long time, checking myself, learning something. And here there is no time - you have to go and do it right away.

And that's why you move much faster. It helped me a lot at work, although in a slightly different area - in Excel. Reworked some reports that took a lot more time. In terms of visualization, it has become easier to decide what needs to be highlighted. So I hope that now I will solve the tasks set much faster.

1. I came to the internship almost by accident, at that time I did not work with PBI, at first I thought that there would be technical training for beginners during the internship, but then I realized what a cool story I got into. The internship was a huge incentive for me to learn the basics of working with data and visualization.

2. .I changed jobs and got a promotion. I understood how to work in a team. I started taking IBA courses.

4. I am sure that in less than a year I will become a project leader, and then a team leader)

I went on an internship in order to gain experience in real projects in other areas (I have been working in development for 5 years) for my development as an analyst, for networking and exchange of experience, for learning from Alexey his approaches to working with projects, from drafting technical specifications to implementation. My expectations were fully justified, I finally started to master PB and developed my first dashboards, I realized for myself that this is the direction in which I want to actively develop further.

If I used to work with dashboards as a customer, now I understand all the work from the inside and this greatly simplifies the process) I plan to further master this tool and use it in my work. I think that an internship at the IBA is a great experience and a good boost in development, a great opportunity to meet cool employers and just colleagues in the shop :) It was great to implement a project for a charitable foundation, for me it is a tremendous emotion, to do a good deed for an organization that needed it, to receive a lot of thanks and invaluable experience, thank you for this opportunity!

As part of the internship at the Institute of Business Analytics, I wanted to work with real tasks in the field of data visualization, it is not always possible to get acquainted with the tools and the subject area qualitatively enough without real practical cases and tasks.

I was pleased that the tasks were diverse, testing and pumping different skills, I got acquainted with real tools and practices, and this will allow me to continue to grow and understand data analytics, visualization and high-quality data representation. Many thanks to the Institute and Alexey!
